A chance to talk to someone who listens without judgement, without pushing their own agenda and who gives you their full attention.

New perspectives

We all need support at times and for some people seeking counselling, it can be really helpful to explore different perspectives together. For others, I might help them to recognise their current strengths and coping strategies or find new ways to cope. Sometimes it is beneficial to identify thinking or behaviour patterns.

Whatever approach you need I can work with you, at your pace.

A collaborative approach

Whatever brings you to counselling, I aim to work with you to find your own answers. One of the ways I do this is to encourage you to employ ‘compassionate curiosity’ towards yourself, as we are often our own worst critic. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is very important – one based on trust, respect and equality.

Areas of interest

I work with clients who are experiencing all sorts of challenges including (but by no means limited to) anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, stress, family and relationship issues, chronic illness and infertility.

I have a particular interest in neurodivergence and regularly work with clients who are diagnosed or self-identify as neurodivergent.
